A decent, more-or-less true review of a very special car: arguably the first blue-collar supercar and that was much of the problem. Car reviewers of the day invariably compared the under-$10 grand Pantera to other GT cars with the same looks, handling & performance but 2-4X the selling price and guess what? The Pantera fell a little short- what a revelation! Like comparing a VW to a Lincoln and dissing the bug because it didn't have Lincoln bits included at its McDonalds hamburger price.

Reviewers also completely missed the first rule of owning an Italian car: what you get is 90% of what you thought you had, and its up to the owner to do what's needed to complete the car to his wants/needs. That includes ALL Italian cars, incidently.
