What I found disturbing is that your garage is cleaner than my house, and well bigger
Nice work, even though not too many people will notice these areas, its does feel good to know there is nothing to hide.
Dude, you should grab your Swanson Hungry-Man tv dinner and slide under 9203 to dine and admire your artwork. No one may see it, but you know the work is done. Looks real good!
Aside from the exhaust section, did you use POR-15 exclusively?

So true. Sometimes I even trailer my GT40 all the way to Montreal (an hour and a half) JUST so I can work on my car in such a nice environment!
Awesome job David. I'm sure all those mobile tax collectors you run over will be able to appreciate the detailing.

Gee, I forgot how nice that looks in my garage.
Ok. I'll take it.

I'm jealous of all of the light you have in there, I usually have to leave my garage door open to get enough light to see, and that means dust, rain, wind, and nosy neighbors end up blowing in and making for a slow, unproductive days.
Maybe I should do like Mark and drive out to Montreal to get work done
That doesn't look like Mark working on the GT 40, David, do you also supply a mechanic to visitors?

White panter in white garage - you must be wearing shades whilst working on your car to prevent yourself from getting snowblind I guess...
Is this the "cold dirty garage" you referred to in the first post?
I'd be afraid to pull my pantera into that garage for fear of getting something dirty.
I made the mistake of showing the picture of Dave's garage to my wife. What do you think she's been squakin' about lately? "Why doesn't the garage look like David's?"
I don't know what the problem is. I'm perfecly fine with my garage.
Quite similar to David's, don't you agree?

The one thing wrong with your garage are those empty beer bottles - should be a fresh crate of nicely kept cool beer...Belgian beer of course!
Thanks Will, I was beginging to feel a little uncomfortable with all that "clean garage" talk. Like I might have to clean mine or something. My garage is off limits to my wife and kids, more for their safety than that of my cars, atleast that is what I tell them. I could spend a couple days cleaning mine and you would not be able to see the differance, so I figure, why bother? Currently waiting on the engine builder to finish stuffing more ponies into the block of #4499(black one now banished to the driveway) while getting ready to pull the engine on 3914
sorry for hijacking this thread, would like to see the progress on 9203

Actually dudes, my garage looks just like Will's and Kitty's.
Before I moved in I painted the floor. Then I photoshopped some of Mark pics on the walls, added a shot of my kitchen cabinets and created a perfect setting.
Now I take pics amid all the junk and don't worry about the mess. I close cut the pics and drop them into my nice clean background.
But honestly, if I could do what Mark and others can do with their Macs, believe me I would! It's a lot easier than going thru what I do to keep this place looking like this.

I finished off the grilles and trim. Hooked up the battery, gave a couple of blips on the throttle and turned the key. She fired up like I was driving her yesterday! Smooth idle. Super nice. All good. Added some coolant. Bled the rad a little more. No leaks anywhere. Hung around with my lazer temp gauge until the auto fan came on as planned. Temps all good. So I closed up the front.

Here she is in all her glory.
I modified the seat belt mounts and put in the drivers' seat. Also added a new, small rear view mirror. All good. I left the access cover off so I could check the thermostat housing for leaks and let the new alternator and compressor belts warm up. Now I just have to tighten them up and I'm really done.
Well... are we ever really done?

Awesome results David. You can start on mine anytime! Heck, I'll even bring it there.
See you tomorrow!

The empties are in the cases. The fridge is full at ALL times with CANADIAN. I do keep some spritzers on hand for when my gay friends from Quebec and Ottawa pop by for a visit.

I'm guessing that he means you because I drank him dry last time and then threw up all over his pretty patterned concrete driveway. I like asphalt myself because it's a lot easier to hose off after an "incident", but it's not as "house and home" as the patterned concrete is. I must say however that it does look really nice with that pearlescent white Denali parked on it.
Nice to see he's tidied up the garage since our last visit!

Nice photo shot, and garage floor is cleaner than my fry pan!
