Either is fine IMO. More important to just get some in there, not what kind unless you are racing for money. Then there are low friction greases that can lighten up heavy steering. There are still Panteras (and Mangustas) around that have OEM ball joints and what grease the factory added now probably looks like brick dust. Its soooo simple to drill & tap usable OEM ball joints for vital zerk fittings, and all replacements now have fittings, I think.
