Turbo Tim has finally bought his Pantera. Thirtyfour years later after seeing my first Pantera, I now own one. I went to CO. Aug 6th and met with the owner of a 1974 Pantera. He had owned the car for 26 years. It will be shipped to me sometime late this month. It has 8 and 10 inch campi wheels, Hall Pantera center arm rest, hi-rise manifold with a 600cfm holly carb, electronic ignition, up graded fan motors, very nice interior with original gauges, rectanular headlamps(conversion), koni shocks, new suspension bushings, euro tail lamps, GTS exhaust system, SPARE engine, 2v heads, crank, extra alumium valve covers and more parts. The car has 62,000 miles, I would consider the paint to be a "ten footer", very nice appearence, a great driver. After so many disappointments, I met a gentleman who was gald to see his car go to a guy who really appreciated it. It took a year and a half of searching, but it was worth it. His wife couldn't believe he was selling it after so many years, but we all have to let go of things sooner or later. I feel very fortunate, and hope things will work out over time. My wife is a little apprehensive, this is a BIG investment for us. I have assured her that it will ALWAYS be worth what I paid for it. I guarantee, the prices of Panteras just went up again. They are works of art, history in sheet metal to be cherished and preserved. By Gods grace I possess one now.

Congratulations & welcome to the brotherhood of Pantera fanatics!! I know we would all like to relive the joy we felt when we finally were able to get our Panteras & everytime somebody on the board gets his dream car it brings back those happy days when we finally got ours. I know you'll have a great time with it as I am having with mine! BTW, what color is it?

Hey Michael,
Been very busy the past several months combining two businesses so haven't had time to contribute here much. Hopefully, I'll be done soon & back to posting more often. I see you're still taking good care of that beautiful car of yours - keep up the good work!

That's one of the great things about living out here. I can be out of town in 8 minutes. Step on the gas and HOLD on. I enjoyed the Buick Gn I owned here too. What good is having nearly 400hp and not being able to feel it once in a while? There is also mountains just a few miles away, so I can feel the twisties. I can't wait till my car is delivered.....I will take pictures and post them as soon as I can.

And what wife ISN'T appehensive...unless of course you're on #2...in that case...well :0)

I've been watching your posts over the past year. Believe me, I spent almost two years myself looking. Missed my promise to have a Pantera by my 40th Bday by a little over a year. Have 3 kids under 10 and just started a new job working 60+ hrs/week. But the Pantera is much more than a car. It's PASSION pure and simple! Enjoy. You'll never regret it!
