Turbo Tim has finally bought his Pantera. Thirtyfour years later after seeing my first Pantera, I now own one. I went to CO. Aug 6th and met with the owner of a 1974 Pantera. He had owned the car for 26 years. It will be shipped to me sometime late this month. It has 8 and 10 inch campi wheels, Hall Pantera center arm rest, hi-rise manifold with a 600cfm holly carb, electronic ignition, up graded fan motors, very nice interior with original gauges, rectanular headlamps(conversion), koni shocks, new suspension bushings, euro tail lamps, GTS exhaust system, SPARE engine, 2v heads, crank, extra alumium valve covers and more parts. The car has 62,000 miles, I would consider the paint to be a "ten footer", very nice appearence, a great driver. After so many disappointments, I met a gentleman who was gald to see his car go to a guy who really appreciated it. It took a year and a half of searching, but it was worth it. His wife couldn't believe he was selling it after so many years, but we all have to let go of things sooner or later. I feel very fortunate, and hope things will work out over time. My wife is a little apprehensive, this is a BIG investment for us. I have assured her that it will ALWAYS be worth what I paid for it. I guarantee, the prices of Panteras just went up again. They are works of art, history in sheet metal to be cherished and preserved. By Gods grace I possess one now.
