I was searching online, mainly looking for price and submitted a request at Holman Moody site. the reply this AM was that new ones should be available May 2015 (no price though).

From reading though the postings here, can I assume the BT would be the top of the list for desired manifolds for street use. that is good response at low end rpms range, from idle up but possible limit upper.

the only disadvantage I have found would be getting air filter under the orginal screen.

is there something I have missed?

Pricing should be around $430 unless it has gone up again.

The manifold's carb mounting base is no taller than the factory EGR set-up. There are several versions of the manifold. You don't want the racing manifold. Ordering the version that is machined for the Pantera will improve air cleaner clearance a bit.

Yes the manifold works well over a wide powerband, idle to 7000 rpm. Suggest using it with the Demon #1402020VE 750 cfm carburetor (vacuum secondary - annular booster venturi - street calibration - electric choke).

Other possible sources for the BT manifold are DSC Motorsports, Survival Motorsports, Pantera Performance Center of Colorado and TMeyer Incorporated.

The engine below is equipped with the Blue Thunder manifold, a good old 14" air clean with a drop base (Corvette big block is a possible source) and an element just tall enough to clear the choke horn.

thanks for the info.

I am not at the buy an intake stage right now. I am still in the find a local machine shop that would build a Cleveland.

there is a Ford performance shop (Fast Lane)real close by that has been featured in several magazines , however when I mentioned Cleveland the phone went silent...the reply was the last guy that worked on them had long retired!

I did get a semi positive reply from Holman Moody.
