I’m ready to switch out my original Motorcraft D2ZF AA carb. Rebuilt several times over past couple years and loads up on heavy acceleration. Any recommendations on new carb and manifold? I want to keep low profile so screen still fits over air cleaner. I have a 72 Pre-L...thanks

ronwitt would you like to sell that carb? Is that your stock carb?
Hi Tom, If I replace with new carb setup I will let you know. Yes it’s the original carb: Motorcraft D2ZF-AA. Runs great except for loading up on me after heavy acceleration. I’ll let you know... right now still looking for recommendations on new carb and manifold. Thanks, Ron

I've hear great things about Quick Fuel carbs. You might just do a search on this forum for Quick Fuel. As I recall George Pence had good things to say about the carbs. Good luck. Let me know if you want to sell the Motorcraft carb. Thanks!
Thanks Tom, That’s one that I’m looking at. I’ll track down George and get his recommendations on swap. I’ll definitely let you know if / when the Motorcraft is pulled. Thanks, Ron
