My # 1594 has no seams at the rear and front valance. I have pictures from my car in bare metal, no seam visible. Found pics in www Panteras missing these seams as well.
Think only early Pre-L will have this. Is that right?

when I purchased 2511 previous body and paint work had filled the seams you mentioned and the rocker seams. During recent collision repairs the car was fully in bare metal and to an untrained eye, the filled seams appeared OEM.
As it appears your car has had a repaint with the car down to bare metal, your original seams may have also been welded and metal-finished prior to filler/primer. That could easily appear OEM.
after 50 years, almost every car is bound to have unexplained aspects that could be attributed to the factory or to the previous owners.
I think cars with VINs close to yours would serve as your most reliable benchmark for determining why your seams are not showing.
