Can anyone offer a substitute for the brake light pressure switch? They're on backorder with the vendor, NAPA's parts book doesn't list a switch with a 1/2(?) inch fitting, only 3/8. And I'd like to be able to go for my weekly drive, especially since it's a holiday.

Any info appreciated,

Chris

I have a nearly new brake light sensor available if you're interested. I bought it last year from Pantera East, but decided to eliminate the shuttle valve and use a basic tee fitting and a $5 generic sensor instead. I paid $40 for it, and will sell it for $20 plus actual shipping. Bob R. Tipo874@aol.com
Chris, just re-read you post and remembered this is not a SAE or std metric thread. After scouring every parts store, hardware store and even my buddy's aircraft repair business, I finally removed the shuttle valve and put in a basic brass tee and a $5 generic sensor switch. That's why I have the original type replacement sitting on a shelf somewhere!
