Can anyone identify what kind of car this is?
I will spare the gory details but to put it mildly, this car absolutely smoked my viper with out any effort at all.

Looks like a McLaren MP4-12C, not surprised you got smoked!

An amazing 592hp out of it puney 3.8 twin turbo V8. The CF tub helps too!

I met up with one at Virginia International Raceway (VIR)...very nice fit/finish and track performance (in the hands of a professional driver)
What year is your viper? My friend had a 2008 and it had 600bhp. The only advantage the Mclaren had is weight because of the carbon fiber used in the chassis to lighten it. If Jay Leno was driving the Mclaren with a passenger, you would win

The Viper is a 2005 roadster with 510 factory HP. I will say straight up, I don't usually drive the Viper, put less than 400 miles on it in 2 years, until last weekend. Mostly, I just like the way it looks, much like the Panteras, I can pour a whiskey and sit and look at it for hours.
I can't explain why only an extra 100HP made such a differance, but it sure did.
He pulled up along side of me while I was on "the Alley" crossing the state. 2 lanes in each direction, divided hwy and no traffic. I will say his passenger was one of the most beautiful woman I have ever seen. I was very conflicted at which to look at, the car or her. I think she won.
I was doing 85, he egged me on, so why not. He was just toying with me, at 130 I decided I had enough. That is when he put the "Hammer down". At 130 in my car I could feel my chest shake from the power of his car, in an instant he was so far down the road and over the horizion, I could not even make out his car. I have been very fortunate to play around with some high end exotics (usually older classics), but I have never seen anything like this. The rate of acceleration from a rolling 130 was stunning.
I was happy that at 130 the Viper was only at around 3,300 RPM. Could have easily done 180 or more. I on the other hand came to the conclusion that what I was doing probably was not too smart. One does not want to find himself in Jail in Rural Florida!!! Again....

that 4C is an amazing car. It has a pretty big price tag too. Probably explains the girl?
