As near as I can tell, it's the single plane 4V Cleveland intake that was available over the counter from Ford. Someone has cut the cast valley pan off/out of it. They were available in either dominator or standard Holley flange.
You're right Kelly. It's a D1ZX-9425-FA single plane intake from the old Ford Muscle Parts program. It looks like it had a Dominator flange but then had a standard Holley flange welded on.

How does it compare ,power wise,to say a Strip Dominator?

I can't say as I've never run one but it looks most like a Weiand Xcelerator 4V which I don't care for (too dead down low). Actually, I bet a Weiand Xcelerator 2V would be better on 4V heads than the 4V version for many applications. The Holley Strip Dominator is still hard to beat, though the tall race intakes from Australia look very good from initial dyno results I've seen.
