He said 270 hp would go 150mph. Sounds easy 
Wonder what Junior Wilson felt at those speeds in a Pantera on a road not near as smooth. I was rumored he hit over 240 mph at silver state.
I did like the 2001 Space oddesey theme when he hit 253. It was also interesting when he said at those speeds the tires would last only 15 minutes but not to worry, you run out of gas after 12 minutes!!!!!!
I will be happy to just get my Pantera to 200.

ahhh - i take that back. looks like the sun came out for the run.

one last note on this clip: how do you keep deer off this section of track?
i grew up driving in the woods, and i gotta say, you don't speed during deer season, at night, or anytime your intuition is anything below 100 percent.
maybe i just answered part of my own question. still, though, you can't swerve at that speed. i would imagine you'd simply disintegrate into the asphalt after the deer parts your car in half....
kinda like Steve Austin without Oscar Goldman standing by his side with an open Government checkbook, even if it was adjusted for inflation.

I'm pretty safe here on this. First I can't afford 850,000 pounds sterling and second, there are probably only a couple of places in the world I could drive it that fast.
