Not crazy about the car's design but the detail and engineering are beautiful.
Oh they were all that way back in the good old days. All the cars looked like that.
I hate feeling old, but I gotta say, the old drag cars were so much cooler than today. I've never been a NASCAR fan, but I feel the same way about those. In the 70s everything *looked* like a real car. Today funny cars are quite impressive, but they just look like figher jets on wheels. Big rounded bubbles. Heck, Pro Stock is almost that way. Cool Finds!
I liked the good old A/FX cars. Modified wheelbases, straight front axels and humongous tires, yet somehow, they looked more like a car than race cars of today.
I so much want one of those engines. The SOHC 427 was just way cool.
We have a guy on this forum who had one and sold it. True story, I kid you not.
