Build date 10/73 sale date 10/25/74?

According to the Marti report, the car was built in 10/73, Serialized on 8/28/74, released on 8/27/74 and sold on 10/25/74 by the Fort Lauderdale dealership on Sunrise Blvd. Any guesses as to why it took a year to sell it from date of build? VIN 8591

That does not sound unreasonable.
High end cars can have a weird beginning.

A car like this sitting for a year or better before a sale is also feasible.

Remember Ford even had 69 Shelbys re-vinned as 70s so I would not think twice about how this Pantera entered the market.
