Did the CA smog laws change recently? I just got my TPOC POCA newsletter stating that "California changes the smog rules once more", this time cars prior to 1996 need to go to test only centers, whereas last year the law stated 1974 and older were totally exempt. These smog tests require passing the sniff dyno and intricate visual inspection to ensure all is in place the way the car came originally. Anyone know if this is now law, or just some bill on the table? If now law, I need to convert my 3 cars into picnic tables.
