Subsequent to the '17 Pantera Homecoming, Ford Motor and Great Lakes Pantera is hosting another event. New for 2019 is the I can Drive 55 event. Scheduled is a car show at the Ford Romeo Engine Plant, Tour of the facility to see the 5.2 Shelby Engine be hand built and the 6.2 regular assembly line, dinner with keynote Ford execs and access to the Romeo Test Track. I realize the time may be bad but it was the only date available for the track.

Happy new year! Just a small reminder. Great Lakes Shelby Cobra Club was just extended an invite. Should be bigger than the 2017 Pantera Homecoming event! Checks need to be made out to JDRF. See you there!
To date 17 cars registered; 14 Pantera, 1 Cobra, 1 Ford GT, 1Mustang 350. Hotel discounts end March 15th, book now so you won’t be disappointed. Working on filling the agenda even more! Should be better than the 2017 Homecoming event (see Facebook for 2017 photos)

As of today. 25 Pantera’s, 1 Mongusta, 1 GT 500 and 1 Ford GT registered and paid. 3 More Pantera owners verbally said they are coming. Last chance to book. Second Great Lakes Pantera Event Sponsored by Ford Motor!!
Oh yeah we are raffling off a 5.0 Ford Long Block at dinner! Can’t beat these options; tour the Romeo Engine Plant, have dinner with Exec VP Gary Johnson, police escort to Romeo Proving grounds where professional photographers will snap your picture before you have lunch with Edsel Ford! Lastly we cruise to Packard museum! Should be fun.
3 day event was a complete success. Weather cooperated and 21 Panteras and 1 Mongusta rumbled next to the Company Ford GT. We raised 13 k for JDRF!
