Sorry I keep whoring with new posts, but I am so frickin' happy with this car I am afraid the pics will get lost in an older thread.

PI Motorsports called today and said the car is done. I gets alignment on Monday and final stuff (like mirrors) on Tuesday. I can pick it up late next week.

Now I see that I need new exhaust. And it needs to be lowered an inch or two. And the bright trim around the lenses needs to be painted black. I will order clear turn signals for the front and maybe change the lenses on the rear (thanks for the advice everyone!).

Can I put spacers on the front wheels to avoid the funnycar look? Or will that make my tires rub the inside fender wells?

She looks AMAZING in that colour!

(Watch out, now every prelude/civic/camry/... in town will start converting to orange thinking it will make them look this sweet.)

Agree with the idea of blacking out the trim - maybe look for black screws to hold in the lenses as well.

Beautiful color. Yes, lowering will look even nicer, you can see the rear arms should probably be paralel. Are you eventually putting in the front shock raisers? They will really save your front end if you are lowering your shocks more.

I will call PI and ask them about lowering it before sending it to the alignment shop. I plan on installing front raisers.

Anyone know if I can put spacers in the front so the wheels aren't tucked in?

Please look at what Porsche does in regards to a GT3 RS for reference.

The mirrors are black. The GT3 RS has been my guide so far...I'm not stopping now. :-)

You can use wheel spacers on the front, although you may find the studs are not long enough. In that case you can switch to true GT5 studs, which are longer. Question is who supplied the wheels and why didn't they supply the correct GT5 offsets? The rear wheels sit out too far and as Jan said the rear a-arms should be parallel with the road, which would have those rears rubbing for sure.

It's looking good, but make sure you get it set up correctly too, don't want all bling and no go or you might as well have just bought the Porsche Big Grin

Look forward to it being the center of attraction in Reno come June!

PI Motorsports did all the work. I will ask them about the wheels.

All bling and no go...like a Porsche? Have you ever seen my other car? :-)
