On the outer cat whisker does the stainless bead go above the moulding or below.I have seen it above but dont it leave a gap between the moulding and the rubber backing on the whisker when putting the screws in.

Strammel, Welcome to the PIBB! I replaced mine a few years ago on my early pushbutton car. They are flush. I don't know if it is really correct. I feel sure I would have put them back the way they were.

One helpfull hint. When I replaced mine, I did not use the screws. I used double sided 3M foam tape for body moldings. It works much better and there are no screws to scratch the window.
