For the catwhisker at the belt on the outside of the sideglass you can use the Karmann Ghia replacement from JC Whitney for about $8.50 a pair.

You will probably have to drill some small holes to screw it on to the sheetmetal down-flange and shorten them slightly.

If you ruin that little felt strip on the glass channel in the door do not buy new ones for $250 from any friendly Mangusta / Pantera "Supplier".

Go to JC Whitney, look in the Karmann Ghia restoration section, you can get a set for about $8.00.

While on the subject of "cat whiskers" Is there a cheap replacement for the whiskers on the inside of the glass ?

Despite what it says about $250 in the earlier post both the outer and inner whiskers sell for $17.50 ea at Wilkinson's. FWIW Wilkinson's are all black pieces, whereas the ones Dennis Quella sells are chrome strips.

My verticle "cat wisker" seals need replacement. I looked at the JC Whitney sugestion. I see 11 diferent style. Some are obviosly wrong but a couple of them look close. Which ones are the closest ?

FWIW, the $250 reference was from someone elses post that I merely copied for reference (see "source" link). If Wilkinson has the correct pieces for $17, I'd definitely go that route.

Wilkinson also has the side and top glass run felt at $6.50 each (x 4 for both doors). He also sells the front felt for $11.50. All three are the same material and cross section, but the front has part of the "bottom" of the channel removed (near the top of the door) to clear an overlapping tab on the upper part of the door frame. You could just buy another one of the $6.50 pieces and cut out the bottom yourself.
