Thank you. The customer did his own wood grain on panels I supplied fit to the finished dash and doors. The gauge panel was recessed becoming self trimming. Here is a shot of the console less gauge panel. It is a late model profile.

Michael,

Is you car a 71--1424? I do have an early 71 console with the fresh air pull knob in it.

The two consoles are certainly different - although it seems both are two piece with the early ones "breaking" at the back between the storage well and the cigarette lighter instead of under the gauges.

Kirk - Mine is a '71 with the two pod dash - I'll send you a PM about yours just in case mines a basket case.

My vision for now at least on the interior is to keep it as "stock" looking as possible but replacing all the vinyl with leather.

1424 hasn't got its interior bulkhead - so I'll have to look into either making one or finding one out there which isn't going to cost me a medium sized countries deficit to ship out here.
Michael,

The bulkhead will be 1.125 inch shorter than most of them since it is a pre 2000 vin car. I have one if you need it or also make a reduced version for the early cars. The one below is a shorter reduced version. Making one from scratch will be difficult.

I have shipped several versions to Europe cut into 3 pieces with a reassembly bar that attaches the top back together. It has to be a fast access version for that to work.

You may want to look into ocean freight as part of a container--may be the best price.
