So, it's like -40 degrees and there's 5 feet of snow in my driveway. My Pantera sits in the cold garage like a heavyweight champ caged in a prison cell.
And all that's left for me to do is this.
So, for those of you who can appreciate what it's like to Xbox race around the globe, I am pleased to announce that I did it.
Competing at so many different tracks you barely can get to learn more than a few corners, against all kinds of competition, qualifying and racing in all kinds of cars in all sorts of weird configurations.
We all have much more important things to do. That's for sure. However, being ultimately committed, you just ignore everything else and stay in the zone, total concentration on the track, as your wife and kids scream at you to "...turn that freakin' thing down and answer the door or the phone or take the dog out..." or, well, you know what I mean.
But the effort finally pays off. So I am basking in the glory ...until Mark tells you all how he kicked my butt over the weekend in a head to head competition.
