Wow, someone got a deal!
I was chasing this pantera. Even made an offer on the saturday too which the vendor agreed to via email. Before i could wire the deposit the vendor sold her....so much for business ethics
I usually paypal deposits, unless you are doing on line banking or making a direct deposit into their account. Paypal is faster and easier

Dave, your best bet is to invest in a cup of coffee before you send money to someone that far away for car sight unseen. Get a hold of 4NHOTROD. He is in your neighbourhood. See his car, talks about how he got there
Thanks for the note Dennis. As a matter of fact 4NHOTROD searched me out and we are meeting in September. He is about 5 hours away from me but my business will take me into his town in September. I plan on meeting and seeing his toy. Thank you
As for Quickitty, I did offer paypal as I have an active account the vendor however wanted money wired to him. I checked him out and he is a business owner and I figured he was legit however I was shocked at his business ethics. I guess the old saying Caveat emptor applied. The vendor told me he sold it for 25K even though I would have matched it.....sad. I guess I gotta keep looking.

$23k was decent for that car in my mind, but I guess that's considered a good deal now. Sorry to hear that it didn't go through.

I too spoke to this chap, on Sunday. Offered him full price, wire money straight away.... Fair play to him, he did say it had attracted lots of interest and he was in the process of receiving a deposit. If it fell through he said he would get back to me - dont expect to hear again though. I guess 'Canada' you're in line first.
