Christmas task is cleaning out some childhood stuff. I found this folded up in a box and thought you guys might get a kick out of it.
'Twas the night before the races
and all through the garage
not a creature was stirring
not even my Dodge
The tools were hung
on the wall with care
in hopes that tomorrow
they still would be there.
The motor's shiny
and the tank is full
Going to trophy tomorrow
and that's no bull
The slicks are mounted
the carb is set
going to race that car
as fast as a jet
Going to run with the Fords
And run with the Chevy's
keep my motor together, Lord
So i can keep up my revs.
