Hi
My stock rocker arms were stamped steel with fulcrum, non adjustable. They had a "7" marking on the baffle-like extension just above the pushrod hole. As part of a restoration I bought what I thought were the same non-adjustable fulcrum rocker arms from Summit. They look alike-ish but has a "3" stamped on them. They also require significantly shorter rods for sure, but what else is the difference between them? Is the ratio different?
Can I use the old rocker arms with the new fulcrums, the fulcrums look totally alike?
Final question: the fulcrums have oil channels cut into them, not parallel but like an arrow head. Should the point of the "arrow" point towards the pushrod or the valve?
Tough one, I know...
