A friend of mine just came back from the SoCal Father's Day Rod Show. He related that Coddington has sold his wheel business to American Classics. His son supposedly works there.

I had heard about that sometime last year. He had too much going on with the TV show and the shop so he sold the wheel company. The story I heard was that it was going to keep his name, as long as certain quality guidelines were maintained (I am not sure if he kept a certain percentage of the company). Of course we here all kinds of stories and then find out the truth was a little different, so who knows.
I thought i read somewhere that his divorce settlement forced the sale of the wheel business.
I thought that he had a handler??? How could he not ever shave his neck?? NO womder his prize wife took him away??
Great news for me........ 6months now, no wheels and no answers. (and I ask on a weekly basis). Worst *uckin experience I've ever been thru.

If you can find other wheels elsewhere (that are in stock), that sounds like a good route to go. sometimes you just gotta cut the cord.
