15 Panteras on the Diablo Ball field, with about 150 Ferraris and Lambos. Great attendance from AZPOCA gruop. Les Gray, Kevin Hubby, DetroitDetomaso all there.
Congratulations to Steve Julius with another 1st place at this show with # 4357. From what I understand this car was sold last week and the new owner in Mission Viejo, CA is also a new to the fold Pantera owner.
Aw, come on, guys, cut me a little slack! Yes, I wore the Ferrari shirt, but you'll notice that I brought my Pantera, NOT my Ferrari. It was a terrific show, with plenty of great Italian hardware. -Steve
The local Pantera people at the show gave me endless grief about the shirt, too (and the hat, not in the photo). I know it's all in good fun. There were also 1st place trophies for Best Stock and Best Show, and I'll get you that information, too. The reason I no longer belong to PI is that no one ever sent me a renewal notice! -Steve
Of course, how could I forget. Best Stock trophy went to Randy Tinsley with his last-imported 1974, and Tom Bechtel got Best Show car with his astounding vehicle. Congratulations to both. I'd also like to personally thank Harry Deshong for NOT showing up, so that I had any chance at all of winning Best Modified. -Steve
