Maybe. The stock surge tank has a neck thats sluighty too deep, with a typically rough bottom. Both reduce the seal and the pressure at which the cap releases. Take the tank to a radiator shop & have them cut the neck off, replacing it with a US-made neck. Should be less than $25. Then a stock 14 or 16-lb Stant cap will fit. Note that the Pantera is cunningly designed to let the cap-overflow water drain down the inner fender panel, directly into a hole in the frame, where it will fester and rust your chassis.... THe post-run overheating is due to the "heat-debt" you build up while running. When you stop, airflow around the block etc stops and the engine actually warms up further.
