It was Tom's brother...Colin..that did the design, whilst hungover...he also had a bad cold and was taking medication...he had also lost his glasses...

Beach buggy looks like someone blew on the tail pipe of a Fiat X/19

Front end looks like a late 50's Chrysler 300.

I like the bottle being used as a wheel chock! lol

Only one wiper on the right side suggests a RHD machine (though there's something on the left that may be a wiper post), so maybe something from the former British empire? Maybe India? Locale looks tropical. A quick google of Indian license plates shows some similarities.
