Has anyone attempted a dead pedal or kick pad in there cars? Im thinking a black piece of leather bound to the carpet on the left upright carpet. Ideas?

I'm 5'9 and there is no way I could ever rest my foot there. The box is narrow as it is and the wheel well interference is considerable. I just tried it and my knee was hard up against the dash.

Interesting, I'm 6 ft 180 and every car I have i need to put my left foot somewhere. Its always pressed up against that carpet.

I guess what's holding me back is the fact the car is so original. Even with original radiator and 4 blade fans on hot days it never over heats.

Thats why I thought a piece of leather as its reverseable.
