Just a few days ago I had a shock seeing on a film shot in Romania's capital Bucharest this supercar, it was 1977 after a big earthquake.
The big mystery around this appearance is natural because this kind of supercar was not allowed or even afforded by any romanian, not even the presidential family had those kind of cars certainly the other ranking official couldn't afford or permited something like this, Ceausescu's main car was a Renault 20, and a few Mercedes cars as a gift from other presidents.
Who had the privilege of driving a supercar in such a place? must have been a fun experience...
My thought is that some kind of foreign diplomat maybe from a partner country had it.
My question is, can we track it?
From the footage I can't tell much, there is a country sticker on the back of it and the number plate looks like having a black half and a white half ? and whats that white shadow under the passenger door?

I see a full rear bumper. Weren't those meant for the US market?

Some stop frame viewing shows a car I believe was a Euro GTS.

Front bumpers are chrome, can't quite tell if they are standard units or the later Euro "eyebrow" version.

Door handles are not pushbutton.

Appears to have the Euro GTS center roof-mounted radio antenna.

Wheels are stock two slot Campys.

As for the full-width rear bumper, yes it came into fashion to meet USA crash regulations. But I believe with any Euro GTS you could combine options to your preference.

And if you look closely enough, you might come to believe as I do that the rear bumper is chromed, to match the chrome fronts.

Pretty sure I've seen the chrome rear bumper in other European-sold Panteras.
