On my black Hall GT5S Fontana block, the dip stick and tube inside, about 2/3 of the stick near the top is having some rusting issues within the tube on the stick. I am thinking of replacing the tube and stick with a new unit or maybe cleaning/chroming the existing one if that may be possible. But where the tube connects to the engine/oil pan, does anyone have photos of a Fontana block of how the tube connects back there? Or maybe engine block doesn't matter and it connects to the top of the oil pan? Not sure if it would involve taking out the bulkhead or somehow going under the car to get at the end of that stick and see how it connects. I thought I may have posted something about that here before but can't find it. Cant get it on the lift yet to take a look as still have back issues going on
