Does anyone have a 2011/12 vette??...

I was harrassing a mustang just now and a new vette showed up on the scene... He came up along side and we both slowed alittle and the punched it. I got a real good look at his tail lights as they suddenly got much smaller far off in the distance. The cars beautiful, I really like the style of the newer vette. I got my ass handed to me...lol.. I would love to hear an owner report...

The owner of 6915 the GTS i have been working on,has a 2010 zr1 vette.638hp.eaton surpercharger.He states;this is one of his cars that scare him.He also says that about his 2006 ford GT40.The vette has,traction,launch,and ride control plus active handling system.Takes all the fun out driving.I wouldnt know.He just got a 2010 Hennessey performance engineering Camaro with a 705hp zr1 vette motor.Looks just like the vette with the clear window in the hood over the supercharger only differance is a polished alum. radiator.How do i make the Pantera into the car he wants to drive? I know,i will put a ZR1 crate motor in it...lol.

Well jeez, no wonder... I think he was watching a dvd, on the phone and tuning the radio with the A/c on, he left me sitting there like I was parked...lol... I don't feel so bad now, I have learned to behave around the newer vette... My head is still burning from being scalped so badly..lol...

I only got a fleeting look at the back of the vette... My car is a mild 400 HP or so, but I usually do pretty well. This car was in a different league. It reminded me of the time I left the light w/a GSXR1000... It was that bad, he blew me away like nothin'... I need to pick on guys my own size..lol...

With a simple exhaust and cold air intake and tuning we have had these well over 400 horse at the wheels. These motors love to rev. That being said the only 2011 Mustang we had on the dyno was completely stock and pulled 395 at the wheels. I love these new motors.

A stock Z06 will turn an 11.6 in the 1/4 mile all day long. Pretty tough to beat.

I was thinking of one for a daily driver, but to me the rear of the newer vettes always just seemed like a huge flat wall to me. Couldn't they have added some type of style there, tuck some of that rear end slightly under with an angle or something?
