Door lock tubs

Hey there Bill ... your in Chester ..wow I knew there were a few Pantera's hidding in the weeds ... LOL

I suggest you paint the little tubs and get the handles rechromed .. its to costly to buy enw handles .. I'm in Suffern which year and model do you own.

Since the original door lock tubs are made of plastic, they are prone to fading from UV. I sprayed mine with a vinyl dye and it worked out very well. They look like brand new. If you use an ordinary paint, the paint could flake off over time. The vinyl dye penetrates into the plastic and seems to hold up better. Eastwood Company sells SEMS brand vinyl dyes.

My tubs are gray. What color are they supposed to be?
