Driving Lights

Hi,

I am interested in obtaining better light for driving.

Will the PIM halogens lights ($20 each) work as expected?
Any cheaper options?

Life expectancy? Dont want to have the typical low quality lights that burn themselves in a couple of months...

I expect that the PI lights would work well. I don't have them, but any high power halogen should be an improvement over stock. Just be sure to add a relay kit so you don't burn out your headlight switch, or worse, cause an electrical fire.

The conversions were out of my budget and I also wanted to keep the original look so I replaced mine with projector housings and Silverstar bulbs. The difference is night and day. My conversion is here:

Where did you find the projector housings?
Are the silverstar bulbs Silvania's?

Was it a plug and play conversion or did you needed to do some "adjusing"???

I purchased them on line on Ebay. There are several vendors that sell them, just look for the 7" round models which are listed for a number of cars.
