Dear All,

I am trying to work out how to improve the engines cooling. I found that the current setup of having one cam belt run across the water pump is insufficient and by far to dangerous when running at higher revs. I would like to setup so that there are at least two cam belts running across my water pump. Does anybody have any ideas where I could find a double grooved pulley that would fit a 351c.

Thanks for your help.

March Pulleys make a variety of aluminum units for the 351C, with different diametes and grooves, and their on-line catalogue list them all. You;ll have to know EXACTLY what size and offset you need, though, and remember the engine has a 4-bolt balencer the crank pulley bolts to. Misaligning the grooves in custom pulleys will lead to endless heartache trying to keep belts on your engine at any speed over idle. FWIW, the single belt works just fine on road-racing versions of the 351C-powered Pantera that ran at LeMans in the '70s.
