Engine stalling

I'm experiencing a problem on my 1989 Longchamp. 351C engine, C6 3-speed auto box.

The engine runs perfectly under all normal conditions, but if, when stationery and in gear, you go to accelerate and then have to lift off, the engine dies.

Any ideas?

Make sure that the fuel pressure and the float level settings are correct.

Either the accelerator pump if its a HOLLEY is engaged or the fuel float level is too low .. or no gas... like Doug said.
