Expensive Crash

Wow!

Anybody know whose Pantera that is? What's the formula car doing on the street? I betcha there's no insurance on the Fcar(not for the street anyways).

At any rate, that is a sad picture.

This occurred at the Italian CarFest in Grapevine, TX a couple of years ago. The white car belonged to a DFW Panteras club member and the red car (a Bugatti I believe?) was owned by another participant. The red car had been trailered in and the owner took a quick but expensive spin around the streets on the way back to his trailer. As I recall, the Pantera was turning left from the left turn lane, when the red swung wide from an outside lane also to turn left and was T-boned by the Pantera. Other DFW members know more about the details.

Can you imagine what the first officer was thinking when he pulled up on this scene? Better yet, the call for an additional car or supervisor to help out...and trying hard not to bust a gut laughing on the radio!
