Family Resemblance

It is a partially rebodied Mangusta (all 3 Serenessima cars were) with a different drivetrain.

looks a blend between a (Ghibli) spider and a goose...Denis, do you know if these started with Mangusta Chassis numbers?

do any still exist?

You can see the Mangusta wheels. looks like the front fender is longer than the Mangusta's

Access is different as the rear is a hatch rather than gullwings, Design suggests very early in design stage of the Mangusta chassis.

I have a few more pics but they dont seem to upload. I have not read what happened to the cars after Serrenessima closed.

A quick Google search leads me to believe the cars are no longer existing. At least not in public. The only photos out there were clearly taken back in the film days. Perhaps the sultan of Brunei has them stashed away in a secret by bunker, along with a few dozen Mangusta’s.

That engine shot is interesting. Cam driven distributor and two coils.

Anyone recognize that mill?

From a google search it appears that it may be their own design. They had a limited foray into supplying engines for McLaren with poor results.

Wow, the engine in that link was even wilder... twin plugs and looks like a distributor on each side
