I believe this episode aired already. They bought the car from a widow for I believe $8,000 and once they got it to the shop it was too rusty to restore so they sold it to a fellow in cali for $15,000.

I think he took advantage of a widow IMO

BTW the numbers I quoted are approximate as my memory isn't always perfect.

I sure would love to speak to the gent who bought the car. ARE YOU OUT THERE?
This is actually a new episode with a burgandy colored car. This time they actually show them sell it. Last season they had an orange '73 that they did nothing with the entire episode and chose to dump it with 3 minutes left in the show. I was very disappointed because I have seen them take on worse shape cars. I think they just didn't know where to begin on either one.
That show disgusts me. They don't give a crap about the cars. Just the cash. He lowballs everyone when he buys and acts like it's gold when he sells. I guess it is the "name of the game". He promised to fly the widow out and show her the car when it was finished -what a crock.

My current favorite "car" related show is Counting Cars with Danny Koker. He really seems to appreciate cars and doesn't go overboard looking for a profit. I wish HE would do a Pantera!

So how do you restore an F100?

New BFG All Terrain tires and a new CB radio? A winch on the front bumper and a gun-rack in the cab?

Smiler

Yeah...so what's your point! LOL Kinda been looking for a 57-60 F100 short bed. Easier to get in and out of then the Pantera.
Under what rock do the networks find some of these reality show shops/participants? About the only conclusion I have, after watching a number of these shows, is that I would rather invest my time and money in self education and do it myself rather than turn my vehicle over to one of them to "short-cut" the process. While there are a number of very competent and legitiment shops, I doubt that any of them have their hands up hoping to be subsidized by a TV Network.
Fast N Loud was fun to watch when it first came out... now they are just sell-outs imo.

Nothing wrong with making money mind you- but it went from a car show to a big commercial.

They even have a fast n loud restaurant/bar now.

As far as the Panteras go I believe there are two different episodes with 2 different Panteras.

Regardless, don't buy too much into it-- Im sure these "deals" are done far in advance. Who knows how
much they are really paying ...

That being said, they seem like some fun guys to have a beer with!
