Interesting story. Gonna be a little long.

My wife and I just took our cars to the car wash. She was in line in front of me. As the attendant was leaving he stalled her car (2005 Mustang GT 5 speed). He stalled it three more times trying to get it into the line. Coming out he stalled it again. Then two more times. So I walk over thinking I'll show these boys how to do it. Well I can't even get it to stay running. It was running rough and stalling. We had this same issue last year with the car which at the time entailed a week long vist at the dealer to find out "we think it was the fuel pump but we couldn't duplicate the problem. But it runs now." So we push it off thinking we'll call for a tow in the morning and go from there. (luckily we had my truck)

Well on the way home my wife says that the last time the dealer admitted that when the car came in it started right up. No codes no problems. That whatever the tow truck driver did must have fixed it. The only thing we think he could have done was shake something loose and lift the back end of the car up. So she said why don't we have our daughter jump up and down in the trunk to see if it dislodges whatever (cant jump on the bumper its too small cant jump on the trunk it has a spoiler daughter only one small enough to fit in the trunk and be able to jump up and down). So we go back about an hour later. She still won't start. Pop the trunk, daughter hops in and jumps up and down several times in a crouching position.

Wife tries starting again no go. Daughter jumps a little more.....wife tries again.

VROOM VROOM VROOM.

Fires up and revs like nothing ever happened. Damn Christine!!!! Wife drives it home. I take it around the block. Stop and start several more times. Only evidence left is the engine light is still on.

So my field fix is jumping up and down in the trunk. I'm adding that to my list of things to do when you car won't start.

I wonder what the people at the car wash thought of our little adventure when they saw my daughter getting in the trunk??
