Gas tank Larry? I didn't think I needed that. I just removed it to save weight!

Moose, the dyno ran 494hp, 534lbs tq. We cammed it for low rpm for durability mainly. We were targeting a max rpm of about 5500. It makes things like bottem end problems and valve problems not much of a problem. It developed 420lbs of tq at 2K rpm. Tim sayed it idled very very well. Hopefully a durable no nonesence engine.

Get rid of you ZF 5 speed.A two speed will be plenty. That is one bad ass car Gary.Good luck.
Gary,

Nice looking work.

While you're testing fit, I'd suggest you mock up the headers with the gas tank and heat shield in place. Interference on the shield is common.

I'd also suggest that you do same with coolant bottles and pipes. Typically, problems exist with #4 header primary and pressure tank in stock position.

I'd also suggest you check the routing of the tailpipes/mufflers (with the car sitting on the ground). Sometimes the position of the header collector can make snaking the tail pipes through the control arm and half shaft a challenge.

Thanks Kelly. Actually, I am going to fab headers then build the gas tank. I am moving it to the right side. I actaully am going to remove the suspension spring and make sure I have clearance at full travel. I hadn't thought about cooling tubes though!
