It appears that Dave Rudderow misunderstood and decided that my help was no longer needed in the POCA fun rally because he only saw a portion of the postings and e-mails that were floating around after Matt Merricks comments on the POCA web ring which started it all. John Taphorn, Bob Reid, Judy DeRyke, Judy McCarthy, Larry Finch, Scott Mead, Dennis Yogi and many, many others also took this as quite an insult on them for me.

My dear, dear friends that stood up for me, how can I ever express my love and gratitude for your standing beside me I’ll never know. I’m a very lucky man to have such people in my life. I will treasure you always.

John Taphorn informed me today that he and the board have complete faith in me, my abilities, my devotion and my sincerity that they want back in 2007 & for as long as I’m willing to coordinate the POCA fun rally. I don’t know what to say to so many people that mean so much to me that are so willing to stand up for me. This is an honor that I sure don’t know why I deserve when I can be such a dick at times.

So, I will be back next year at the POCA fun rally and I will be the coordinator for the raffle. To do otherwise would be a slap in the face to ALL those that stood beside me, behind me and showed their never ending support. I may not be much in the grand scheme of things, but my honor to those I call my friends is important and all that I have that matters to me other than my family. And you all are my family too.

I will be honored to work with all those that are willing to step forward and help me through the rally and just maybe this is the start of something good for POCA that brings us all closer together.

Thank you one and all. You truly are amazing and really are the true sprit of Pantera ownership. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, It’s not all about the car, it’s about those we share our lives with. Thank you for sharing yours with me.

See you ALL next year, if not sooner.
