One of these days Bill, one of these days ....

SiTarga has a Guara, along with his Targa Top Pantera Si! Both are cars we can't get here in the states.

There are two Guaras in the US, Charlie Falcone owns one, he's located near me on the west coast, there's another on the east coast.

cowboy from hell
Have you had a look at Autozine's write-up on the Pantera? http://www.autozine.org/Classiccar/html/De_Tomaso/Pantera.html It is riddled with errors. The site is created and maintained by Mark Wan from Hong Kong. I admit he probably doesn't have many knowledgeable people to talk to about Panteras over there, but it sure would be nice if he at least did a little on-line fact checking before he posted his material. As just one example of his serious mistakes, check out this quote about the Pantera 90 Si:

"In 1991, an even more spectacular version was announced: Pantera 200. This car added twin-turbo to the V8, boosting output to 450 horsepower and top speed to 200 mph, hence the name of the car."

I'd sure like to see a 90 Si with twin turbos or a 200 mph top speed capability! Had DeTomaso actually done that, they wouldn't be in receivership today...
