Thanks, for the source, but I didn't break it yet. It is just way too close to the gas pedal (about 1/4"), such that the gas pedal cable is scraping the inside of the center console cover (the area by the right edge of your right foot). So I want to bend the pedal to the right some (it is soft and easy to do, but not sure if I dare yet). I think someone may have bent it close to the gas pedal, and I just want to bend it back...snap/crack.
I've experienced a similar problem on my 74-L
What I did was remove the clutch and brake pedals (not an easy job)heated them up and bent them 1 3/8" to the left.Tig welded the two half C pieces of each pedal together for strength and it worked out just fine.AS a mater of fact outher Pantera owners in the area are doing the same modification.Good luck.....
