This is a 4 day event starting on Thursday April 19 and runs through Sat night. I have done this trip several times. Not really a car show but more of a gathering of gearheads. The town welcomes us all. The Police are laid back unless you do something really stupid. You can find a burnout contest. Gatlinburg is a resort town in the Appalachin Mountians. They have all kinds of rides, go carts, food, and family stuff. I always stay at the Smokey Mountian Motor Lodge. A few years ago Detom and I met there and we had a blast. People pull their cars to the curb and open the hoods. Execpt for me.. I had to back in. In the t 2 times I took my car ..I was the only Pantera. Detom was afraid to get his wet, mine got totally soaked, so I can't really blame him. If any other owners want to come, I'll save you a parking place next to me. It is a great drive in the mountians, but I recommend staying off I40. Hy 19-23 runs from Asheville to Newport Tenn. We drove home that way ant the veiws are spectacular. WAAAAWAAAA let's GO!
