Last weekend Jaime and I removed the stock front bumpers from our '72 and replaced them with PI's Carbon Fiber bumpers. We removed the turn signals from the stock bumpers, and made new brackets for them just behind the front grill. We also plugged the 7/8" hole under the front bumper (where the wires for the turn signals used to run) with some simple nylon hole plugs. And lastly I took the time to paint the front brake calipers while I had the wheels off.

I'm incredibly happy with the new look. It's subtle, but much cleaner than stock.

Very nice job. I especaially like the lights behind the grill. I have been thinking of some small driving lights behind the grill, but of course didn't get to it yet. I have a feeling the driving light idea may not be good however, as it may be too close to the ground, and have a bad angle for on coming traffic (and probably against some CA law about height of driving lights too...not that it would prevent doing it Smiler).
