Gr4 or GT4

Can any body explain to me what the difference between a Gr4 and a GT4.
Also if you know how many were produced.

The combined total production of Gp4 and GT4 cars was 16. How that breaks down between the two I don't remember, but a copy of the factory document appeared in PI magazine a few years back.

I think the best way to describe a GT4 is a street legal Gp4 made for a very few special people. Unfortunately, I wasn't on the list of recipients.
