Any one use the graphite coated/steel core header gaskets?

I hear they are thicker, reusable.

Pros..Cons???

I saw a set yesterday for the first time. They look very cool. The graphite should take the heat and seal very well. The parts store I was in had a sample of the material on the counter. The internals looked to be a mesh type fabric(could of been a fine steel wire). Sealing properties should be excellent on the first use. Im wondering about the reusable aspects. The sample I saw the graphite had started to crack. So if it cracks and flakes off I doubt it could reseal.

I used Remflex solid graphic #RF3006. They are a bit over 1/8" thick and sealed great. Now I'll see how long they, if I ever get it running again. Found another issue with the Edelbrock head, the pushrod guide.
