Here's more pictures.

We drove about 550 miles in two days.

Most of it was on windy, hilly, open, high speed roads. The driving was a blast. No cops for the majority of the trip, it was too remote.

We changed the plans from what we had published, we returned via the Northern Route. This was through Springerville, Eager, Greer, Pinetop, Show Low. At this point the three Tucson cars split off shouth through Globe, Winkleman, Mammoth and Oracle. The Phoenix Cars (John/Kathy and Jerry/Donna) keept going through Payson, and into Phoenix via the Mugillon Rim route.

Our trip took us:

To the Elks club of Safford

To the Jails of Morenci

To the Winding Hills of the Coronado Trail

To the Alpine Highlands

To the Snows of Springerville

To the Salt River Canyon

To the Smelter of Hayden / Winkleman

Sorry - I got tired of taking pictures at this point....

It was a great time, and a very good run.

Here's a slide show of the event.
