Its 11:30pm here in Hawaii. A military lowboy transporting a crane hit a pedestrian overpass on our major freeway (actually we only have one running east to west) the overpass sustained so much damage that it has to come down. The freeway has been blocked since 2pm. Traffic is still bumper to bumper and doesn't show any near sign of improvement. I've been at work since 7am. So much for having one major freeway and the only alternative being surface streets!

DENNIS: THINK OF THIS.... PRESIDENT BUSH IS OUT JOGGING, AND FALLS IN A DITCH FULL OF WATER, THREE YOUNG BOYS JUMP IN AND SAVE HIM FROM DROUNDING.HE TELLS THEM THANKS AND THAT HE WILL GIVE THEM ANYTHING THEY WANT FOR SAVING HIS LIFE. BUSH TELLS HIM HE WILL GET HIS SHOES AND THAT MISTER JORDAN WILL DELIVER THEM PERSONALLY. THIRD BOY SAYS HE WANTS A BATTERY POWERED HANDICAP THREE WHEELED SCOOTER. BUSH SAYS, YOU LOOK HEALTHY TO ME, WHY DO YOU WANT THIS SCOOTER? BOY REPLIES: I WILL NEED IT WHEN MY DAD FINDS OUT THAT I SAVED YOUR LIFE. PS YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN IN THE GRIDLOCK AROUND PEORIA IL. THIS SUMMER!!!!

Pedestrian overpass H-1 westbound near the Halawa Hights Rd. The accident occurred at about 2:30pm. It was still bumper to bumper to town at 2:00am!
