Sometimes life does not treat you right.Things go wrong for no reason at all.Last month my voltage regulator burnt, almost caught fire.
Found a wire burnt.Traced to under my dash to speedometer generator warning light. Not sure what else was burned so I took out the entire dash.Everything else looked pretty good.Ordered new bulbs and holders for speedometer and replaced everything new.Put in new regulator and ran new wires.Reinstalled dash, with only a few cuss words.Started up ,with a jump ,and ran good, ampmeter not working, taped on it ,started working(wheww!!!).Thankyou Lord. Now I don't know how this happened, but I heard a buzz-buzz from under the passenger side dash.Found a black box buzzing. It was the hazardous flasher/turnsignal relay box.I had no turn signals or emergency flashers.Took the box out, noting the wire locations.Tapped on it and replaced, same result,no flasher or turnsignals.Called vendors,I have the old style relay with 4 terminals.Newer ones have three. They have new style but no one had the old style."Don't make them anymore" but was told you might be able to take apart and clean the one you have.So I did that with same result.Relay looked very clean anyway.Went back and retraced my wires to my emerg.flasher switch, looked good. Then I decided to look up Mike Daileys Panteraplace.com and get wiring diagram for the relay and go over things again.Dam if didn't hookup the relay backwards.I somehow got my wire turned around.Rehooked and presto, everything works.Dam,I don't know if I'm the stupidest person that ever live or not,but at least I'm a stupid person with a smile on my face.Thankyou Mike Dailey and Bill Taylor for making life much easier and make owning a Pantera a true enjoyment in life.Thankyou all.Life is good.

Good for you JWR, glad your gremlins are gone! Look at it this way, you had the whole dash out and ONLY hooked ,one wire up backwards, and you figured it out one your own (with a lttle help from Mike who is
a great resource, as well as the rest of you on this board)
I hope to be so lucky

But whats crazy is that I never touched those relay wires untill there was a problem.
